I was surprised to see so many Buells in Alghero, they possibly, in a highly unscientific piece of investigation, were the third most popular large displacement bike at the resort. (Harley and Ducati were the class leaders). I saw at least eight, and in a sad anorack way took photos of six.

I've not been there, but I'd imagine that the size of the island and the nature of the roads there make for perfect Buell riding conditions

Or do they just have lots of German tourists, who go there on their Buells and leave them there with snapped belts

Wasn't Sardinia the location of the tours that Buell used to organize back in 2001 where they supplied the bikes? If so I'd guess it really must be ideally suited to them
