Any one used these Oxford rear paddock stand , i have just bought a set , good solid, wide enough for the XT but do not seem to be able to lift high enough so that back wheel is off the ground, grrrrrr

The positional adjusters fit the swing arm width ways no problem.

Or am i doing something wrong any ideas , newbie to paddock stands...,

How close to the axle are they. It is the same size wheel as any XB so should be no problem.

Also make sure the cups do not damage the paint.

I have a micron rear with 2 different types of hanger's [rubber & hook] - i'd play around with the distance on the swing-arm first.

I also have the Oxford and a Uly.
I fixed two pieces of nylon bushing to the lifting plates of the stand. These fit either side of the two lugs that are cast on the underside of the swing arm. This stops the stand slideing up the swing arm as you lift the bike and makes it very stable.
You must however loosen the pinch bolt first as the lifting plate now covers it.
