other progress - Lee didn't want to mount the battery behind the headstock, so now going to be mounted @ the left front, against the coil pack (looks neat, more mass centralization), Swing arm has been machined down on the LH spindle boss, so that the dymag can move over that side to get the belt run correct, took the dymag cush carrier off to machine the back face to move it back towards the centre of the wheel and lo and behold, Eric must have been a dymag fan because the belt sprocket bolt holes only bloody line up perfectly!
Told Lee that the sun shines on the righteous - he just said i was bloody lucky.
Have also picked up a Micron Serpent system from Dirty Harry when he was travelling past.
