That is a good article...explains it well and gives some hope... :yup:

I appreciate the explanations of it all but I don't see the hope.

My bet is Hero allowed this to happen as a way to gain complete control of EBR. They'd have saved EBR before this ever went public. They can reorganize, shift the bad debt out into another business structure leaving the best part of EBR alone. Hero can buy a debt free EBR for rupees on the dollar at the expense of Erik's creditors.

I go away fro a few weeks and look what happens. I think Mojo is over there now trying to sort things out.
I won't add my comments as to why it might have happened as I am neither a businessman, manufacturer or racer, just someone amongst many waiting to see how it was going to go before ordering;maybe that was half the problem.
An interesting article here.......http://www.autoevolution.com/news/is-an ... 94806.html

I just read a nice little chapter in Leanings 3 about the first Buell closing down sale:

Only three pages, ideal for someone with a short attention span like me...

Interesting tweet with a link to facebook page by ebr about 5 hours ago.

Second in a danish superbike race against bigger money teams.

Hopefully someone is watching this and has deep pockets.

Perhaps he should come and work with Maz, that would cause a stir. :yup:

...8 pages now...
With the exception of 'Jokes', 'Pics that tickle' etc (which aren't even 'true threads' inasmuch as there isn't continuity) that's a thread that won't die...

Being as you and me both ride bikes built 19 years ago, and therefore haven't really contributed anything to EBR's finances, we shouldn't really be involved in this discussion :P

Fair point, well made BUT... I feel for the guy and I might've been in the market for one in the future!

As I understand it, Erik was an 'employee' of EBR Motorcycles rather than part of the ownership team.

It doesn't make the situation any better of course but hopefully he won't lose out financially this time around.
