Is this something that should be fitted to an X1? Apologies if it's a more than dumb question but I need to take an interest in the new tuber thingy ;)

I don't get this. The vibration comes from rotating imbalance, so up, down, fore, aft but in a circle. The tie bars resist sideways movement and are used to locate the engine and align the wheels.

Not sure why you would need a damper. :?

Magz is going to Maz on Wednesday to see her new toy so Maz will no doubt give her the low down on what's needed :yup:

It would be good to turn this into a capable and good looking bike with all the right 'stuff' on it. I'm sure it will all be cheap as chips too :D

That I assume is a technical term Like jittery but less staccato.
