Just received one of these through the post.

Whether it´s quality or not, time will tell.
It´s very light compared to the rusty iron thing that came off, and it doesn´t have a steel inset as it appears to have in the picture.
Just thought I´d give a heads up for anyone who´s interested.

It will certainly look better than the steel one. I suppose only time will tell if, with a 3rd of the teeth of the alloy rear, it lasts well too.

Why would you want an alloy one?

I like the long gearing, as I plan to use the bike to go backwards and forwards to work in the summer,
60km each way on the motorway.

Pash, it´s just a thing I have taken up with building my car. reducing Unsprung weight and rotational inertia.
I have a Penske damper on the way too :)

The one, who needs not to be named, provides you with lovely lightened (-40%) sprockets like this. No need to buy dubious parts from fleabay ...
