Hi Michelle, nice site you've got there and one of these days I can see me phoning you for a tank, not neccessarily for a Buell though 8-)

Just looking through your listings, I noticed that you make tanks for Tiggy Cubs. I'm sure you're already aware of this, but Trials Cubs are notorious for splitting alloy tanks because their steel tanks were actually structural. The way that many sort this is to run a steel tube down from the 'swan neck' of the headstock to the frame under the tank. Just a heads up if anyone phones you saying they're building a Cub :yup:

Deposit sent for Manta tank. If you are thinking about a small tank we need a few more orders before there are enough to get started .

Hi Adam
Many thanks for the info I will be sure to pass this info on to Tony. We haven't had any problems with the ones we have made but that's not to say there may never be a problem so thanks for letting us know.
Best regards
Michelle

I heard from Michelle at Holtworks just before Xmas. Tooling is underway and production of the Manta tanks is expected to take place in Feb/March.

So, at a guess, there will be some very shiny tanks for Spring. Or painted or unpolished for the weirdos out there - I am thinking unpolished... Hmmmm... nice.

8-) Thats good news - I thought that wasn't going to happen as there wasn't enough demand?

Hi Happy New Year

Just wanted to give you a quick up date.

The tank has been moulded and we now have the resin to pour the tool. Tony is just clearing up some orders so that he can get going with the tank, but all the time he is thinking about the best way to make it.

We have decided to go ahead with the small tank as well and have taken 1 deposit, we have also had 1 person drop out of the list which was a shame as I think that makes 3 that were interested. But obviously we will do the Manta first then continue with the smaller tank after. This is now on the website to pay the deposit if anyone is interested.

Please send me an e-mail if you have any questions at sales@holtworks.co.uk

best regards
Michelle
