im just so amazed at their lousy fault finding it i hadnt sent them an e mail they would have just sat there till the new wiring harness arrived and fitted it and then found the bike was still faulty.

Get in touch with Tubbs, he's the only one (of two) that I'd let near my Buells (Maz is the other).
Shame you haven't got your bike back yet, as Tubbs is dropping my bikes off to me in Worthing tomorrow. Would've saved on transporting costs.

Anyway, hope you get it sorted :)

i actually felt sorry for the service manager when i spoke to him today he said they are going to deliver my bike back to me which is about 50miles and the charge for all the work they did{or didnt do}is £150 which must be a great loss to the shop.i dont blame him but i dont think much of their mechanics.so thats another dealer off the list.maybe next year we should have a run there but make a point of not going in the shop and just have a cuppa at the tea stall outside :twisted:

Glad to hear you're getting your bike back, and that they didn't rip you off for the labour. £150 is still a bit steep considering they had it for all that time and still didn't actually find or fix a fault, but it could have been worse, and at least they're delivering it back to you.

I hope somebody with a little more knowledge than the dealer can help you out.

buell arrived back today from shaw harley,had to laugh at what was printed on the bottom of the invoice.........customer care its a shaw thing :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

got the xb back and had a quick look around headlights dont work but the main beam warning light is on when you switch ignition on.wiring does not look as if it has been touched at all as all my gold cable ties[dont tell maz} are still in place.just have to wait now untill finances allow then its off to tubbs
