Apart from the numberplates?

:maz: will be along shortly but basically all of the 2000 recalls were attended to.

Primary tensioner, detent plate, rear shock, gear shift linkage, front muffler mount, metal rocker gaskets, later isolators, colour impregnated bodywork........ all the important stuff really!
Earlier 2000 models also needed an ECM update and rear pot sensor too.

The shock, rear pot sensor and ECM update should have been handled under a recall. The rest are all updates not covered by recall. Some dealers fitted the later isolators as a goodwill gesture; others were still fitting the old ones several years later. Either way the old ones will be shot before the 10k service when they first get looked at according to the service schedule.

Thinking about it my dealer at the time (Surrey HD) replaced the shock, exhaust mount and isolators FOC aswell as fitting the temp sensor.

......8 bolt alternator rotor, etc. etc.

How many times do I have to say it.......If you're gonna buy an X1, it HAS to be an 01 model

02 models had the same spec but were parts bin specials and come with all sorts of random finishes.

IF YOU'RE BUYING AN X1, IT HAS TO BE AN 01 MODEL.......end off !

Define parts bin specials and random finishes.
What about 01 bikes sold on 02 plates.

This is one for the collectors then - looks a bit special to me and the price -

Interesting story behind it though ............

As I thought. You didn't 'see' it at the weekend because I didn't collect it from the docks until tuesday and the price is totally wrong.
I imported the bike because I wanted an original S1WL and there are none available over here, except Dilligaf's which is not for sale.
