my '00 m2 has warped two front discs now and i want to know weather its me or maybe the brake pads i use (ebc hh) or something else? i cant afford to keep replacing them so any help is appreciated. devonbob checked my first disc and it is out by 2mm!

also is there an original looking disc from another maufacturer? i hate wavy discs on old bikes :o

I use ebc hh pads on mine with no disc problems still on the original disc at 43000 miles ;)

As I said above the Prolite is without a doubt the very best brake disc avaiable for a tuber running a single set up, period.

You can get one from any decent bike shop that is an agent for EBC stuff.
Expect to pay around 175 quid for the disc, 32 quid for a new set of 249HH pads and be sure to use new disc mounting bolts.

 Have you made sure that the caliper pistons are cleaned up regularly so there's no binding on?
BTW I know what you mean about the prolite being "flowery" - the carrier design is too busy for such a big disc.
Oh - and by way of returning the favour - make sure you get a disc the same size as the original :)
