Work in progress report number three. Thanks to Pash I acquired a hidden rear brake caliper which I fitted this morning. I think it looks cool but it will take a few miles to bed in the brake pads. I am not too sure about the LSL foot peg hangers, they are at least two inches higher than the standard Ully position, I will just have to get used to them. Still thinking about a satin black frame/swinging arm but either way its ready for MOT in March.

Did the gloss black frame, swingarm thing but didn't stop there. Also did the seat rails, tail piece, A frame, yokes, front mask halves, fork bottoms, both crank cases and both rocker covers. It cost a f##kin fortune. It has to be polished often to look at its best.

And it's stunning, I took these pictures of Dave's Buell at the UKBEG NMM XB9/12 Lightning meet, May 2016.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ......luv you mate :yup:

Just in case anyone was wondering, this has been a private joke between me and Dave and I have to say, that bike is stunning, just like all of his bikes, even the Triumph......which is all the more remarkable given that Dave does everything himself in less than ideal circumstances !

.....now will you take my shit to the tip ?......pretty please you bike building god :ner:

CJ That XB is f****** awesome, puts my attempts to shame. I have sprayed a few items matt black/satin black and it works out fine. I have tried gloss black and I cannot get it to shine, hence my intentions to go down the satin route.
