.....I bother posting on here because most peeps dont visit anymore ......but I will anyway
Every year around this time I put up an appeal re. end of riding season......it would appear from recent traffic through my shop that this years season is coming to an end and the Buelligans are getting ready to mothball their bikes for winter.
In nearly 19 years of serving the Buell community, I've learned one thing .....come March/April every year, I get shit loadsa bikes coming in for major work that could've been done whilst they were wrapped up in garages over the winter months
I also get the usual duff batteries, broken belts, seized fuel pumps, blocked carbs jets, services, mot's, etc. etc. which result from months of idleness.
I have 2 lifts, limited space and I work alone, so can I please ask all those of you who might want major work doing to book in now rather than waiting for next year

As soon as we can sort transport you will have the M2 to tear to bits and rebuild. That should keep you out of mischief for a while

Sounds perfect sense Maz.
So all you bikers who don't ride all year round, get your bike to Maz ASAP!!
Those who ride all year, look out for that window of opportunity, maybe when there is 2" of snow on the ground or temperatures below 5 degrees with a wind chill factor of -10 degrees. Xx

But it is rather quiet on here sometimes.
Sorry I can't support you, but I'm a bit far away, and I'm one of those Fellows that's not good for bussiness, as I enjoy spannering on my bikes.
But as I said over on the dark side, winter is the time to get the work done!
Maybe Folks don't realise the corrosive properties of dirty engine oil sitting in their engine over the winter? Or the fact that modern fuels turn to jelly after only three months?
I could help by buying all my gaskets and other service parts from you.
