People who don't understand, always run with the cheapest bid;

“There is hardly anything in the world that someone cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price alone are that person’s lawful prey. It’s unwise to pay too much, but it’s worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money — that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot — it can’t be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.” John Ruskin 1819-1900

....and wasn't it Oscar Wilde who defined a cynic as someone who knows the cost of everything and the value of nothing ?

That describes my business partner to perfection.

I've lost count the amount of times he says "why does it always happen to me?" :roll:

Hi rik ,
I understand what you are saying but when A2B want £174 up to Maz and £162 from Maz to home from me and Ibis (who lives about 40 mls from me) and they could pick up in same van on same trip (total £672) and Bike2you want about £350 (subject to exact addresses , about £175 each) then I think the £322 difference would take some justifying . :shut:
I know that a lot of members highly rate A2B and their e-mail to me said that you pay for the bike space and they can't state that both bikes would be picked up together ,I would have thought just from a logistics point of view it would be done together , in which case they are getting double the money for the same trip . wb
Bearing in mind that I did'nt just pick this Bike2you company from yellow pages but was recommended by another member.
I could just take it to local Harldly Movinson shop but don't fully trust em ,so thought that the main man :maz: could take a look and would do a far superior job . :yup:

Maz I will pm you with problem lOl
