Anyone coming up from the South and not quite sure of the way I can meet up somewhere on the A82 if you want. I know it's not a hard place to find.... but yeah why get lost.

Ok if anyone from the Edinburgh area is intrested we could meet at the service station at Dreghorn on the Edinburgh bypass at 8am.
Let me know if anyone would like to meet here and I will wait for you.
In case you are wondering why I want to meet so early it's so I can get my breakfast at Tyndrum before we set off. 8-)

Well, I'm booked into the Dalkell too.
When I phoned, I did a C.J. 'How much? over the single occupancy supplement.
Tried to convince myself that I would get up early enough on Sunday to ride down and to meet you lot at 10am. But it's 168 miles. And much as I love having empty roads, I really can't see myself up at the crack of dawn. Plus it's gonna make it an awfully long day.

So I choked back my 'yorkshireness' and booked a room....

Hmmm was thinking about joining you but 354miles on a sunday morning to get there for 10-30am doesn't look too good and working all day Saturday :( :(

Kev - where's your commitment? :D

Our ride up to Tyndrum on Saturday should be dry - well almost, fingers crossed.

Sunday's weather forecast looks pants :(.. Hey ho, what can I say, nothing ventured, nothing gained....

Don't be looking out for a blue Ulysses at the Green Welly Stop cos it won't be there. I'll be in Buell enthusiast mode this weekend:

If the weather is anything like today I wont be coming.
I got wet enough last Friday to last me all year.

I can't say I blame you, Norrie. This summer is turning out to be just as bad as last year - rain, rain and more rain :x...

I won't cancel it - we'll still be at the Green Welly Stop on Sunday morning.

What you need is more trips to Bridlington 8-)
All this talk of rain in other parts of the country, East Yorkshire is seeing virtually none. Lovely day again here.
Besides, Ian would love another chance to go to Brid...... :D

I would point out that Argyll & Bute is far more scenic than Bridlington - even in the pouring rain :D..

Sorry guys - couldn't make the Green Welly today :( - got back late last night and woke at 7 to torrential rain which seemed to be heading north from me- couldn't face the thought of a 3 hr ride in HEAVY rain with the chance of spending the rest of the day squelching about. Hope you didn't get to wet and nobody has gills !! Any way - Scotland in the summer - at least the rain keeps the midges down
