2 lovely old buells were parked up, a highly modded X1 and a spotless M2 with improvments.

Could the X1 and M2 not be Tags and Phil44?

That blue and white Buell was VERY nice..... (I also liked the yellow and orange ones too....honest)

I need to think up a more exciting tag than Jill Brown...any suggestions???

Yep, saw the bike. Think I may even have spoken to you. Was made warmly welcome by Mirmanuk, tubs, Mr and Mrs T, and Banjo. I wish I could remember their real names. I can remember someone was called Colin. Sorry guys..... it's my age..LOL

Just bumped this up as a reminder for those who are hoping to attend or any of you visiting this end of the woods this coming week.

Well over 400 bikes last month, some rare beasts were bought out of peoples sheds.

Along the Seafront in the D day museum carpark (behind the museum adjoining the coach park)

Jo: We won't be as scary the 2nd time you meet us :D

Not sure if I will be there. I am hoping to get some work done on my bike this week if the front paddock stand arrives tomorrow.

At the last meet up I saw someone who used to work at college and made a point of speaking to him. He was one of the organisers of the bike meet. I found out on the Monday 6th July that he had died on the previous Saturday. His name was Mike Fennemore. I am so glad I made a point of speaking to him as I would have regretted it if I hadn't. Did any of you know him? Did any of you attend the funeral? Here is the news link:
http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/newshome/Bi ... 5462870.jp

I am assuming the bike meets will go ahead. This week's one will be first since his death.

Good turnout at Pompey , yes Tags and I went to Mikes funeral along with 300 or so on bikes, a well liked man, seemed strange without him there .

The last one this season, tonight Sept 2nd, where has the year gone, been to most though missed last months. Normally 300- 500 bikes, it is becoming a popular event and grown considerably since last year.

Rain looks like it could dampen this event tonight but will see what the weather is like later.
