A note for your diaries - always a good night - if you can peer through the hordes of identical plastics and cringing cruisers there are often some absolute gems on show. Always amazes me just how many folks turn out for this one. Live music, unhealthy food, general bonhomie, the usual stuff. See you there :D

It would be rude not to, seeing as it's just over the bridge.

Except I've just looked and were in Itay that week.

Yeah, I hear that, but the lovely thing about it is that you can then ride out onto those open roads & return to your quiet, unspoilt corner of the world, having sympathy for those poor folk who live constantly in crowded, busy cities 8-) :P

Quick heads-up on this one - Woody & I will be found in the old-timers' corner, which is predictable I suppose.....

Come & say hello 8-)

Just back – great night, the weather held for us and kept a few away, making strolling just possible. Good to see Woody & Linda, Kevmean, missed St Leger Jack (we saw Craig but you weren’t around) and loads of other pals.

Saw this S1 parked with the Classics (!) and wondered if it belongs to our old mate Rocket, who I’ve not seen either on the road or on the forum for 9 or so years ..Image

This stunning Indian took the Best Classic Award ….Image Image

You meet the nicest folks at Barton Bike Night …Image … and the strangest of bikes … Image

This lovely Danish beauty came & sidled up to my new toy .. Image

Always wondered where the name originated … Image .. now we know!

Loads more pics over at fb.

I had a works DOT trials bike, my dad said it meant: 'Don't order two.' Great fun, but nowhere near as handy as the Greeves equivalent......

.... My Dad used to build Greeves Motorcycles (Road, Scramblers and Trials) at their factory in Benfleet (Essex) before they went over to building the Invacar full time, they developed the invacar largely because Bert Greeves built a one off powered wheelchair using a lawnmower engine, for his disabled Cousin.
