Sorry Chris - me and my M2 are going to have to miss this one.............

plus........

it looks like most of the ride outs this year :(

After doing 250 glorious miles at the end of February, followed by a super clean and then buying a new super light weight carbon fibre helmet in readiness ........... I promptly knackered my back  and have just had my 4th spinal operation at a specialist hospital in Oxford............shit :headbang: ....I was supposed to be at Wootton Bassett as well.

With a fair wind I am hoping the recovery is going to be shorter than the 18 months estimated so .............I am look forward to 2011 events :D :D in the meantime will enjoy the online craic !!

M2 is doing fine :D

cheers

Count me in for this one, breakfast at the Ace sounds tiptop.

Southern posse, shall we say Dg20 8.15 for a 8.30 set off? I'll put Tony (Deepsix) forward to lead the way (at a gentle pace, I know the speedo on your CR is in MPH so you can't use the same excuse as you did on the Main event run!) because I will get everyone lost

I figure we hit the Ace for about 10am, eat and arrive at the museum around 11ish?

alter the time according guys if you wanna meet earlier etc I'm easy...

Any idea of a route yet then ?

If Tony (deepsix) is leading I'm guessing we'll meet you in the same place as last time Kev?!!

Yeah man, the Longparish/Hurstbourne Priors Junction :yup:

Weather not looking too bad so should be OK for the country route :yup: DG20-Romsey-Stockbridge-Chilbolton-Longparish (meet Kev at Hurstbourne Priors X-road again) Whitchurch Overton Basingstoke then see how we're doing for time. Could head toward Reading for M4 or carry on up A3 or M3 Got a bit lost last time as we neared the Smoke so might be easier to stick to Motorways for last bit.
0815 for 0830 at DG OK by me.should put us at Hurstbourne for about 0915 then. 8-)

We will meet you all at the Ace Cafe. Unfortunately I won't be able to ride my bike as planned, due to the oil leak, but will have to ride pillion on the FJR. gutted, cos I really wanted to ride my Buell to this event... :sad1:

Hi I shall be coming from Aylesbury (35 miles from the ACE) on my burgundy coloured 06 plate XB9XS. It would be good to meet up with other Buell owners - What time are people meeting at the ACE for a ride out to the Museum

Sorry guys
Have to give this a miss. Am at Silverstone for the day driving some contraption called a Motor Car. Cant see why it should have 4 wheels when you only need 2.
Norm-missus and me was hoping to tie up with you again. Are you going to Nemarket on 3rd? Maybe we could tie up for it.

Sharp, I'm planning on being at the Ace around 10-ish, and leaving around 10:45.

Rider (and Pillion), that's a shame. Not sure about the 3rd, yet, might have a friend coming down for the weekend.

Sod it, I'm going to post a link, what can possibly go wrong? :D

Sunday's weather forecast for Hendon (and most of England for that matter) is very good. We might get a bit wet on Saturday's scenic ride to just norf of London via East Kirkby but, hey ho, we can't have everything.

As mentioned earlier within this topic, on Sunday we're trying to achieve the largest ever number of 1125's at a UKBEG event. Dependent on how many turn up and the size of the parking area that Hendon have allocated for our use, I will try to arrange for a good picture of a 1125 line-up :P.

So, if a tall, handsome stranger with a funny accent, clutching a camera, approaches and asks you to park your 1125 in certain area - don't tell him to f--k off, just humour him.

In case I don't get the opportunity to post again before we set off, we'd like to thank everyone in advance for making the effort to attend on Sunday. It has all the right ingredients to make it a fitting way to start the 2010 UKBEG events season.
