Thanks all 8-)

another entertaining day in the company of Buelligans

That's the first museum i've had a look round while at a meet, I was hugely impressed !

Ta to deepsix, JBR and Mr & Mrs T for the company on the way up, nowhere near as much fun on the way back

Nice and dry too.

A great start to UKBEG 2010

:sun:

It was lovely to meet everyone today. Had a great time. Good to meet and put some more faces to names. Good to meet you at long last Norm. x

First time we have been the the Museum....it was great! Huge and surprisingly, free to go round, too! Great weather for it.

Looking forward to the next one.

I 've seen the bike I want to buy, too............. :yup:

Great to catch up with everyone today. Had a great time and can't say how good it is to get out on the Uly again. :D

Mojomick, hope you had a good ride home. You really did look cold at the Ace.

Thanks Goldy and Max for the cuppa on the way back. :)

JBR how did it go with the onboard camera?

Good start to the season. :yup: Bit chilly on way up till I saw Mojo at the Ace who looked to be having the DTs or was HypotherMick. It's one thing trying to look tough but riding up the M3 with you cock out is going a bit far. Must have taken ages going for a piss.
Funny response by Ace cafe marshall as we pulled up, he seemed to be getting peed off at number of Buells messing up his nice neat Yamaha collection. lOl
Thanks Colin and Max for the coffee stay at Goldies cafe. ( can't see how peeps would commute thru London every day even on a bike, quite fun but wouldn't want to do it regooliar)
Great to meet more folks, never do get to speak to all tho. If Ronald still reads these, apologies for not speaking at the Ace, assumed you were coming to Hendon, but you did look pre-occupied :D
Looking forward to Newmarket.

Not too bad, managed to video myself with a Ciggy hanging out my mouth turning the camera on for a full 7 seconds before it turned its self off!! the second video when we met up with Kev (Onanist) is better, got an hour or so of us riding bit boring to watch though to be honest!!

Hopefully MojoMick remembered to do his trousers up on the way home, although it does pay to advertise Mick!

Two things about it. Firstly, try it in a car for a few days and you'll realise anything is better. Secondly, it becomes a different sort of game, just as involving as canyon carving but available as a daily activity.

Hi folks, had a great morning at the Ace (had to split early)

Good to chat with you folks (grilphilbuell, jon64 and guy with 10 plate Uly) and see so many Buells in one place at one time.

Here are the photos I snapped whilst I was there:

Sorry I didn't get to stay longer and meet more of you proper.

Next time...

Harking back to an earlier comment, not sure how many XB's were there but I did a quick count of 22 pissflaps (meaning there were 11 either 1125R or CRs) and 4 tubers.

To ride through London you only need one thing (well 2really) carbon knuckles on your gloves.

They are the best things to save your hands when taking wing mirrors off. I have a nice collection of wing mirrors at home.

Apart from that a short wheel base bike plenty of torque loud exhaust and you should be fine.

Not forgetting a good eye for speed cameras too eh?

On way out of London there were mobile units between the fixed cameras, ...sneaky.

What a fantastic day it's been!
The ride was really great, well impressed with the bike, the weather was as good as it could be for this time of year :sun: , and the company really was the best.
I think it's gonna take a lot of time to really start putting faces to names, buy I'm sure it will come eventually.
Look forward to seeing you all again in Newmarket soon! :yup:

Hey, Jon :)

I was going to say "ugly fat bastid = Norm" but I don't think those three words would narrow it down by much at a UKBEG meet. :run:
