as it looks that our cadwell park adventure is gonna be a nogo,I have a other idea.

Today Craig Jones visit AST to talk about suspension for his Kawasaki´s.
we also talked about his bike skill acadamy which I like very much.
I´m planning to come over with I hope a lot of Dutch Buellforum guys/girls.

is there interesed from any of the ukbeg members,I need a minimum of 24 people to get a good price and a lot of Buell fun.

I first want to see if anybody is up for this, then I can give more details.

info from CJ´s website...

Timed aggressive low speed handling...
An example of an urban situation through traffic within a city. This is how to push a bike hard, controlled and with absolute confidence.
Front wheel stoppie techniques...
This is the extremes of braking. To be able to take the front braking to the limit resulting in literally standing the bike on the front wheel.
Circuit riding techniques...
Understanding how to enter, apex and exit a corner on a race circuit.
Understanding body positioning when cornering on circuit.
Understanding bike suspension set up for the circuit.
All the tips you need from a recognised professional racer. Typically this could be Niall mackenzie, Steve Plater, Michael Rutter, etc.
The wheelie machine...
Experience actually wheeling a bike completely safely within the controlled environment and safety of a specially constructed machine that allows you to simulate everything that it takes to wheelie.
Check out www.extremewheelie.co.uk

Police instruction...
The cone pattern manuevring is often undertaken by the police because these are the very techniques that are part of police motorcycle training.
The ability to be able to manuevre and balance a bike in the smallest of areas resulting in ultimate control and confidence.
A 2 :1 ratio of police officer to rider for a road riding evaluation.
Understanding how police motorcycle officers are trained to ride the streets.
Understanding road safety.
A lunch time extreme display by Craig Jones and passenger Wing.
A completion certificate, Craig Jones DVD, vouchers.

The academy is currently set up for a maximum of 30 candidates. There is a minimum age limit of 25 years (exceptions can be made.. please enquire). You will need to have a road bike licence, leathers, full face helmet, race boots/gloves and be a reasonably competent rider with an open mind. You will bring and use your own bike. If you are interested in experiencing this very unique academy then please click here for a typical days schedule or simply book now.
