Reluctantly we've decided to cancel tomorrow's meet-n-ride. If it was just a showery forecast we would have gone ahead with it, but everything indicates that it will be very wet for most of the day in that area.

This is the first meet-n-ride this year that we've had to cancel because of the weather - but as it's the end of November I don't suppose we can complain.

A birthday celebration and cake :P - that's a good enough reason to attend Cabin Fever on the 27th December.

I fancy the truth might be a tad more in line with the fact that your waterproofs might not fit over your new outfit

I reckon we've been vindicated by cancelling today's event. It hasn't stopped raining all day here and I should imagine it's been pretty much the same in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

We've held eight UKBEG 'meet-n-rides' this year and they've proved quite popular. We've had a lot of fun meeting fellow Buell enthusiasts and riding some great roads in different parts of the country. Oh, and eating good food usually comes into it somewhere.

There will be more 'meet-n-rides' next year using the same successful formula.
