The forecast is still looking good so we're going to Cadwell tomorrow and should be there for around 11.00 am.

We haven't been to any of the CRMC race meetings this year so we're really looking forwards to this :P...

We unexpectedly had to change our plans this morning so we're going to Cadwell tomorrow - we'll get there eventually :D...

Well what a fantastic days racing 8-) 8-) good to see Gaf and Kim BA and FS and Ash and Leigh 8-)
As well as Spen and misses Spen to be and co :D
Highlight of the day was two fantastic races between Lea Gourley and Guy Martin first race the lead was changing numerous times per lap and the race was won by Lea after diving up the inside at the Hairpin on the last lap....the second race was only a three lap dash as all later races were cut down after a delay caused by a serious pileup on the startline in one of the races :( some fairl serious injuries i believe but hope all are ok.
this race looked like it'd go in Guys favour after Lea fluffed the start and got away in 8th place with Guy leading, but by the end of the lap Lea was up to second......it stayed like that with Lea right up Guys exhaust until the Hairpin again on the final lap when Lea made the perfect overtake up the inside and in a desperate bid to hang on to him on the exit Guy Martin slid out of the race. So two nil to Lea today and looks like tomorrows will be another cracking race.
Not forgetting Brock who finished first in class by a big margin and 4th in the race overall....Spen asked me to let you know the three bikes in front were all shopping type commuter bikes   and Brock needs to sharpen up on his pizza delivery riding in the evenings :D
Great day and fantastic racing 8-)

Our luck with the Autumn weather continues - we had a great ride to and from Cadwell today. This mornings ride was one of the best - clear, crisp sunny weather and hardly any traffic, just purrrfect :P...

It was good to (briefly) meet up with fellow UKBEG'ers and have a chat with Spen and his good lady.

A few of my favourite bikes in the paddock...

Shortly after arriving we looked through the programme and noticed that a Moto Guzzi :o was listed in the 1300cc Post Classic race.

We decided to track it down but after walking all around the paddock we couldn't find it. After watching a couple of races we had some lunch near where we'd parked our Guzzi's. While we were eating Jane noticed that a racing machine with 'sticky out' cylinders had appeared alongside the Transit, which was parked right next to our bikes. Typical, it was right under our noses all the time :oooops:....

For us the highlight of the day, John Dieterman Jnr finishing third in the 1300cc Post Classic race on his 1134cc Moto Guzzi :worthy:...

Note: it had a front wheel fitted for the race :D...

It was SO GOOD to get out for a ride again yesterday – I’d not even seen the bike since the MGP trip. Thanks again, Robin, for giving me a hand with the suspension settings, it was the first chance we’d had to try it out on real roads, and the experience over those wonderful Lincolnshire Wolds swoopers was a revelation. No wallowing, just taught, predictable and chuckable confidence.

Nice to see everyone, and especially great to see the Third Earl and the soon-to-be Duchess of Worksop. Felt sorry for poor old Guy Martin, I’ve never been in an environment where such a likeable bloke is so universally resented. That’s the clique of the classic racing world, I suppose.

So, pics then.

Grrr… I’ll get you, Gourlay …
