Just had a phone call from Harry and he's running a bit later than hoped.........so not sure whether we'll make it now......looks like we'll def miss the lancaster if we do come.
Thought about coming on my own but havn't seen him all week as he's been away on holiday with his mum so although your company is great I'm afraid his is more importent ;)
Will see how time goes ....we may just come purely for the fireworks later ;)

Hey Richie,
Showing my ignorance here, who is JCB, other than my initials??? (BTW I wasn't being flippant about the pic, it really did look like flowers..it was great, I wish I could take photos like that)
I LOVE parkin, I just wish we lived nearer, to join in the fun.
Look forward to meeting up with you all again soon.
Jill

One of the best 'firework spectaculars' we've attended at East Kirkby. The weather couldn't have been better and it was great to share the evening with 14 friends who came through UKBEG.

We must thank Jim who come all the way from London on his Buell plus Phil from North Yorkshire on his 1400 Kawasaki, both of them rode to the event and then back home the same evening :worthy:...

The Lancaster bomber display was as good as ever. Four Merlin engines running at night is a superb spectacle. Very atmospheric with exhausts spitting flames and the unmistakable drone of the engines splitting the still night air.

We enjoyed our weekend exploring Lincolnshire. The Red Lion pub in Revesby proved to be an excellent choice for a B&B and is one place which we'll use again.

I didn't take many pictures at East Kirkby but no doubt Digger will post an impressive selection in due course.

Saturday's ride - a perfect day and perfect roads...

The chocolate fountain proved to be very popular with the ladies...

We like a challenge - today's ride was decidedly wet...

I don't know for certain which date they'll use for next years event but I expect it will be Saturday 30th October or Saturday 6th November.

Here we go then …. Not up to Harry’s standard, but candid photography doesn’t give much time to focus or compose ….
