What a brilliant mornin that was :)
Big ta to all involved in organising and running the day.
The 1125 is a terrific track bike and i agree wholeheartedly with what many have already said, a truly stonkin lump, such a shame its so feckin fugly.
I loved the 12s on the road run, such a user friendly tool.

The value for money from this event was first class, great instruction from some of the best in their field, I got to spank the living daylights out of one of Buell Uk's CR's on a track (meaning I was a a lot less worried about breaking it), I'm still amazed at how good the 1125 is and I've owned one since feb, I didn't think I could do some of the things I was ding on the track today, the front brake is just awesome!!!

I had one little "Moment", looked down to see how fast I was going (120mph) and suddenly realised I should have been braking and took a somewhat interesting line round Quarry.

I enjoyed the Uly off-road stuff (as did Kev!) but didn't like the "skills" course, I have very little patience for going round cones etc

would love to do it all again, but not right now as I'm on the second bottle of wine!

Another great event organised by the Academy. Glad Kev and Jon enjoyed it too.
I bet Jonnyboy is regretting not going round on the back of Matt Llewellyn as that particular 1125r went a f**k site faster and managed to brake a lot later and harder than the one I used.
It also seemed to not only hold a line better but seemed to pick much better lines than mine. It's not fair Matt gets the best bike :oooops:  In actual fact I reckon all the instructors had faster bikes  Must remind myself to Araldite up the worn away bit on my boot before riding again.
Interesting chain/sprockets and swingarm conversion on the pillion ride buell. Will post a picky later if get time, gotta go back to Aberdeen  tomorrow A.M.
Excellent session.

Hello Boys!

Found you :D

Absolutely fab day today, I especially enjoyed the Ully off road experiance with all the boys ;-), they really did show me how its done!

Just booked online now for the Advanced Track session at Malory Park for the 16th, I can't wait.

Please remind me again of the exhaust I want for my CR, brain fell out my ears after my pillion lap.

I'll go an intro myself in Newbies, and great to meet you both today.

xxx

That'll be the Jardine RT-5 slip on from Ebay. Gent's this lady is a fellow CR owner and also managed not to do a "Kev" on the off road part of the day today!
