When we were over at the LAHC yesterday for the Lancaster bomber winter restoration tour we discussed a few ideas for Em’s Day 2017.

In the main hanger, adjacent to the stage where Erik Buell and the representative from Papworth Hospital will give their talks, we’re going to set up a display area for Buells and EBR’s. The display will incorporate the UKBEG stand and act as a focal point for the event.

We’d like to display one of each of the following models. If you’d like to exhibit your Buell or EBR in this special display please contact us to book your place. You will need to get your machine to the Aviation Centre on Sunday 28th May or no later than 9.30am on Monday 29th.

Bookings will be made on a first come, first served basis. If there’s a lot of interest we’ll have a reserve list just in case the first respondent can’t attend.

S2T Thunderbolt - Steve Loxton
S3T Thunderbolt - Moltenpitbuell (Chris)

Just a thought CJ maybe Little Ems should be in the display as well I know it's not a standard M2 but would be a fitting bike to use ;)

Don't worry, Em's Buell, Barney, will have pride of place as always.

Names added to bikes, thank you.

Jill; thanks for the offer. I’ll PM Chris and Linda and make them aware of this topic. I don’t think they visit this website very often. I’m sure they’d be interested in bringing one of their Blasts and of course it’s more convenient for them than it is for you.

Love them or loathe them, the Blast is an important part of the history of the Buell Motorcycle Company. After all they made 22,785 of the little belters/blighters - delete as appropriate :D

It did occur to us this afternoon that we’d missed the XB12STT off the list so that model has been added.

Jill, the Scg is included in the XB12 Lightning category. We're limited for space so the idea is to just have one of each distinctive model. They had a similar display at the Buell 25th Anniversary in East Troy, July 2008.

Bonzo, Att still had his STT at this years Em's Day on the 1st October. I'm trying to contact him via e-mail because he was having problems logging onto the forum. If anyone has his e-mail address please PM me.

That's a novelty. Att's problems with this website traditionally occur AFTER he's logged in lOl
