UKBEG Visit To NCCR/EBR Support, Sweden, 11/12th February.

Following our previous tours of Sweden on two-wheels during the 2011 Arctic Circle and 2015 Nordkapp UKBEG Buell Challenges, Jane has always wanted to visit the country in wintertime. You only live once so we're finally going to do it this year :P ....

We’ll visit Jens Krüper and his family at their NCCR dealership in Delsbo over the weekend of 11th/12th February. Delsbo is located approx.180 miles north of Stockholm.

Over the past 6 years we’ve met Jens and his team at various Buell/EBR events in Germany and the Netherlands.

NCCR website: http://www.nccr.se/html/about_nccr.html

Taken from the EBR press release dated 27-05-16:
Founder and Chief Technical Officer, Erik Buell said, “I have known Jens since 2002. Jens, Birgit, their daughter Julia, and the team at NCCR have real passion and are very knowledgeable of our product. We are very aware of the recent European regulatory changes, and are working as our resources permit towards a full return to that market with new EBR motorcycle sales. NCCR will help us to maintain existing EBR bikes and relationships until that time.”

We won't, Jens and family have been 'enjoying' -12 degrees C for the past 2 weeks but things are starting warm up now. It should be -3 degrees C during the daytime while we're there :D....

This is a 4-day 'planes, trains and automobiles' trip. Unless Jens has a Buell equipped with spiked tyres I don't think there'll be much two-wheeled action involved.

Good chance that he has one of those tucked away since his project with Craig Jones a few years back. When I worked at MC Massan, the Swedish Bike Show, in Stockholm two years ago with NCCR one of the journalists from Swedish Bike magazine turned up every day riding a Ducati Monster with spiked tyres :worthy:

If the opportunity arose I certainly would like to ride a 1125R or similar on spikes. You only live once and all that :D....

Only one more sleep to go before we set off on our snowy Buell/EBR adventure. Not that we're excited or anything :D....
