Chris, if time permits I'd highly recommend a ride along the B8007 to Ardnamurchan Point and Sanna Bay - proof, if you needed it, that you are in God's country :)

Martin - the B8007 to Ardnamurchan Point is a brilliant road and we'd love to ride it again. In fact, we're using a tea towel at the moment that we bought at the little gift shop there :D ......

And we also have a fridge magnet from Ardnamurchan Point :oooops: ....

A stunningly beautiful area, with roads nearly as good as Wales lOl
I used to take groups of Squaddies over the Five Sisters of Kintail on winter navigation exercises - I think some of them used tea towels instead of maps lOl

Just realised it's Bank Holiday weekend as well :) I'll have to check my hols
I recall getting to wind up the mechanism for the Ardnamurchan lighthouse when I was slightly younger, I think that set the trend for later years ;)

Aye, we will be joining you for this one. Are we getting the ferry over the sea to Skye? I wouldn't recommend it - it is smaller than the corran ferry! Though Skye is truly spectacular :yup:

It is a good four hour hike from our place to Mallaig, so if anybody wants to stop off on the way up, or the way back, they would be more than welcome.

Get the levers working on that weather machine CJ :sun: :sun: :sun:

If I don't go to the ManxGP, I could be up for this too.

We have several routes in mind but we'll go with the flow. Just so long as we can stop somewhere for a new tea towel and possibly a fridge magnet, we'll be sorted :D......

And I'm working on the weather for this years UKBEG events :yup:....

Mallaig is further from my house than Maz's place and not far short of Adam's! I'll ring the hotel and see if they can accommodate me.

Here, less of the Jockland pal, that's seen as derogatory and offensive by many Scots.
