Chris,

Unfortunately, our plans have had to be changed slightly. Due to Ade's work schedule tomorrow, we will now be unable to ride up on Friday evening.

We are planning to leave very early on Saturday morning and should be arriving about 10.00am, all being well. :yup:

Jill

I'd have thought so. We went today, they have a good set up for the clubs there. We had a great day and by heck was it hot. 8-)

Got home at 8.30. Knackered now! Had a great time though. It was good to put faces to names at last. What a brilliant weekend in every respect. :yup:

A superb weekend at Silverstone BSB, helped in no small part by the perfect weather :sun:....

Jane and I would like to thank everyone who attended and helped to create the UKBEG display. There was a good selection of Buell models - with, on Saturday, 4 White Lightning's creating the most interest.

We'd also like to thank Steve Loxton from Black Bear for providing his S1WL, the marquee and Buell banners etc. for the display.

This was the first time Silverstone had offered bike clubs this unique opportunity to attend and display at a major bike event and everything went, more or less, to plan. The bike club area couldn't have been better and proved to be an excellent location.

Silverstone were so pleased with how things went this weekend that we've been promised an invite and discounted tickets for next years major bike events, including the Moto GP in June.

If they sort out the lack of sufficient toilet/wash facilities in the public campsite and make sure all vehicle passes are posted out with the tickets then I reckon Silverstone is just about perfect for future UKBEG events.

A great event and well done to CJ and JJ for organising and executing with their normal unflustered precision 8-) Sorry I wasn't around for a lot of the day but I went to visit the H-D stand, met my old mate Loopy Lewis and got blagged into looking after some very nice VIPs for him while he went out to hoon around doing a demonstration lap on the XR1200 race bike.

Good to meet up with a lot of old friends and meet a few new ones. Get posting, Barnet Boy, you won't upset us like you did the septics on the Sturgis forum

Steve
