UKBEG have been invited to attend the BSB round at Silverstone on Saturday and Sunday 26th/27th September.

We would need a minimum of 15 members to buy advance tickets and qualify for the cheap-as-chips two-day entrance fee of £14. UKBEG would have its own 'club stand' and special parking arrangements etc.

Is this event of interest to UKBEG members?

Note: It clashes with the UKBEG meet and ride in Snowdonia on Sunday 27th September but we would change the date (or cancel) so this Silverstone event can be accommodated.

This is the actual wording on the invite:

FREE BIKE CLUB DISPLAY SITE

To qualify for your free and exclusive Club display area located in the centre of the circuit with signage and enough space for a minimum of 20 bikes your Club must commit to purchase in advance at least 15 tickets at the exclusive Bike Club ticket offer. Your individual club members may also purchase in advance their own tickets at the exclusive Bike Club rate (booking fee applies) by using the specific booking code issued to your club.

Exclusive Bike Club Ticket Offer : Tickets are valid for both days and are only available to members of participating Clubs (booking fee applies).

Club Advance Two Day Ticket = £14.00
Public Advance Two Day Ticket = £28.00
On The Gate Two Day Ticket = £45.00 (Sat £15/Sun £30)

All tickets include free paddock access, free entry for accompanied children (under15), free grandstand access and free centre parking for club bikes.

As soon as you notify us that your club would like to accept this offer a designated Club ticket booking code will be allocated to enable your members to book directly with the Silverstone booking office.

Don't cancel the Snowdonia meet CJ, just do it on another weekend. I'm happy to act as a guide on any date you choose 8-) :D

We always attend the BSB's (going to Brands Hatch this weekend), so would definitely be interested in a couple of tickets at that price. What would we have to do to qualify for them?

Jill - as I understand it we would have to buy at least 15 of the £14 weekend tickets upfront and then sell them to you, the members. Before spending £210 I think we would have to be pretty certain that we could sell them on.

We have a few weeks to play around with this idea so we'll sit back and see what the final response is.

Adam - if this UKBEG Silverstone event takes place we'll arrange the Snowdonia meet for another date, perhaps Sunday 20th September.

Bizarrely, two for me too. Four if the "free accompanied children under 15" are included.

As we've already reached 15 requests for tickets I'll take this further - I assume all (or most) of you would want to camp near the UKBEG stand and our Buells?

Richie = 1
Mr & Mrs T = 2
Jill = 2
Norm = 2
Anders74 = 4
CJ & JJ = 2
Boilertroll = 2
