Baring hailstorms etc I'll be there, but there is no way you are getting it on the dyno.

Hi Tubbs, yes, still running the Tron.

A few changes since you saw it: Gilles Vario-bars, new ally oil tank, rebuilt gearbox and shift mechanism, a lot more powder coating, forks resprung et, - all part of the usual fettling process.

Dyno runs only end up as bad news. Either we blow the motor or we are disappoined with the results - no upside here.

Still, be good to see you again,

Dave

Tubbs,

Thanks for the offer but - even though my "Tron" is special to me - I would never suggest that it is any more special to the owner than any other Buell/EBR.

Between us, we have thrown a while heap of cash and engineering skills at the thing, but I don't see that that should give me any more priority than someone on shoe-string budget that is fighting day to day to keep their bog standard Buell on the road. Those people deserve far more respect and special treatment than I do.

I'm happy to leave the thing outside and get rained on with all the other visitors (as EBR should be too!).

If you want to use it as a "look at what we can do" then that's a whole new issue and we can talk abnout that, but for now I don't see that I deserve any special treatment.

Dave

Do I read into this that Southampton HD are going to be an EBR distributor?

I'm not allowed to approach H-D dealers lOl If they come to me that's different but this is more a matter of Southampton H-D expressing their enthusiasm for Buell and I'm happy to show up because they're mates and it's another opportunity for enthusiasts to have a good look at EBR 8-)

Steve

(and deafening silence is because I'm working my nuts off getting ready for Motorcycle Live  )
