Continuing our series of popular UKBEG meet-n-rides we proudly present an 'off the beaten track' mystery tour of the Yorkshire Dales.

Meet at Squires Cafe between 10.30 and 11.00 am.

The tour will include a 'light' lunch :P stop at the Embsay Steam Railway Station

It's a perfect weather forecast for the weekend ....

Which means it's a guaranteed dry day for a UKBEG meet-n-ride .....

Yayyyyyy , a summer UKBEG meet-n-ride that enjoyed totally dry weather. That's more like it! We've had enough of the rain these past few months so hopefully everything else we do this year will be just like today.

Mucho thanks to everyone who attended - we didn't expect many but it was good to have 5 Buells and 1 Guzzi in our group. This was a manageable size on roads that were quite busy in places. Despite the traffic we did manage to ride on some cracking sections with great scenery all around us.

Our lunch stop at Embsay station coincided with 2 different trains stopping and leaving. None of us are train spotters (although some would disagree :oooops:) but the steam engines provided a suitable backdrop for our nibbles and drinks.

It was good to ride the S1 for a change - nothing fell off it and it behaved impeccably. Just like the old days when we first started UKBEG, sigh......

Our small but perfectly formed group,
left to right, Terry, Lucy, Jane, Robin, Derek and Dave...

Good, solid, engineering - something all Buell owners can relate to...

Thanks Chris for leading the day. Was great just to have a ride out for once.
Hope you managed to catch sight of the Vulcan as I left the car park in Ripon. You'd have probably heard it anyway, even of the sound of the Buells.

Im so pleased you all had a lovely day. Although I must admit I have been one sulky medic today seeing loads of folk enjoying their bikes and being stuck in a glorified ice cream van

Hi Maz - what a pity, you would have enjoyed it.

Coincidently, I was talking to the others about your interest in steam engines and engineering during lunch. Your ears must have been burning :D...
