Following the success of last years Cumbria Weekend, we've decided to do the same again in 2009 :P...

Dates: Friday 12th to Sunday 14th June.

Location: Kirkstone Pass and Brotherswater in Patterdale, which are just 3 miles apart.

The Kirkstone Pass Inn offers B&B accommodation and a bunkhouse.
Their web site: http://www.kirkstonepassinn.com

The Sykeside Camping Park and Brotherswater Inn offer camping, B&B accommodation and several bunkhouses.
Their web site: http://www.sykeside.co.uk

Please book direct with the location of your choice. There are a limited number of rooms available so you're advised to book sooner rather than later.

FYI Jane and I have booked a room at the Brotherswater Inn.

Hi Rawni - to date, Norrie (Edinburgh) has booked in at the Brotherswater Inn and several people have indicated that they will be camping.

Hope you can make it :P...

Hi Rawni - that's excellent news. Thanks for coming all the way from Cruden Bay. I presume you're riding down with Norrie?

I'll try to get the weather machine fixed - a few of the settings seem to have gone out of tune at the moment ...

Robin - I don't think the Kirkstone Pass Inn will have a water shortage this year.

Not arranged anything with Norrie yet, but that's a good plan.......

Was hoping to make more Buell gatherings this year, but am at the mercy of NHS Grampian/ RGU for time off - can't book hols.......

But I've been lucky enough to get that long weekend off :hehe:

I will definitely be going to D2 - but am gonna have to skive lectures on the Friday/ Monday. Too far to ride down Sat, home on Sun.

Had a bit of a panic as I had E-Mailed to confirm my room at the Inn as I had booked it last year and was told they didn't have a record of my booking but it was just they spelled my surname wrong. :ill: Few panic over. :D
Looking forward to it now. :D

Hi Pedro - on Saturday we will leave the Brotherswater Inn at around 10.30 am (AND NOT BEFORE :oooops:) for our tour of the Lake District.

Depending on the weather we have two routes to choose from - details TBC.

For 'day visitors' the Sykeside Camping Park and Brotherswater Inn web site can be found here
