As of today, 03-06-09, the 2009 total now stands at £5,609.64 :P..

The 'off-line' amount of £4,791.05 is made up of the following:

£75.00- Sale of Buell Knee Sliders donated by Buell USA. Bought by various people.

£150.00- Sale of signed XB12 shield donated by Erik Buell. Bought by Ian (Greasemonkey)

£153.85- Sale of Buell Race Bag donated by Buell UK. Bought by John (Digger)
Note: due to a computer glitch when John made his on-line donation his payment went direct into the main Papworth account and not through UKBEG's donation page. It amounted to £120.00 + £33.85 Gift Aid. I've included this amount in the 'off-line' total for 'accounting' purposes. £153.85 will be deducted from the final 'off-line' total that is presented to Papworth after the UKBEG Buell Challenge has taken place.

£50.00 - Cash donation from Rick who signed up to do the UKBEG Buell Challenge but who couldn't take part.

£60.00 - Cheque donation from SimonD who signed up to do the UKBEG Buell Challenge but who couldn't take part.

£44.70 - Cheque donation from Claire (Tigs) who couldn't take part in the UKBEG Buell Challenge but who took some sponsorship forms.

£21.00 - Cheque donation from Richie.

We recieved our first 'anonymous' donation yesterday, £32.05 with Gift Aid, and it came with the following message:
Respect to those that rode the road, for my part a small donation is the least I can do.
Which I thought was pretty neat. Thanks - whoever you are :P..

New total = £5,641.69

Because Catherine gave Gift Aid consent the donation is worth £12.82 to Papworth Hospital Charity.

I have CJ, I have. I had to cook the books a little (made Tony sponsor me in the end, I wasn't going to let him because of the petrol etc but I wasn't going to let a little thing like that get in the way ;) - after all I have no nieces  ).

Catherines great, one of those gixxer junkies that seem to be frowned on in here but she has endless energy and does loads for charity herself. Having been headfirst into a transit in an accident she's not been well enough to work for a while but had promised me a donation from her first back to work paycheck.
Nice one Catherine :worthy:

Since my last update on November 7th: Jill Brown has made a donation of £10 + Gift Aid for her Buell banner and we've received a £101 cheque for Papworth from Marcus (muzza) who bought the Erik Buell signed Buell 25th Anniversary poster.

The total now raised by UKBEG in 2009 for Em's Charity now stands at £9,095.48.

Not bad to say we started the year with a target of £2,500.

To all of you who have helped with the fund raising this year - have a well deserved  and :worthy:...
