That's the weekend when we wear two hats - Guzzi and Buell :P...

We thought the Italian Auto Festival was excellent when we visited it for the first time this year.

Really like the sound of this meet but it's a bit far. :(

Will wait and see what I think closer to the time.

Hi Norrie - it is a long way from Edinburgh but you wouldn't be disappointed, it was one of the best non-Buell events we went to this year:

Lucky I hadn't booked the leave from work already.... it's a shame it's been changed as it originally coincided with the half term week at work, between very busy exam timetables. Now I won't be able to be there until late on the Friday.. :sad1:

Jill - the Silverstone Moto GP dates were changed yesterday. Today's MCN carries a full page advert for the event still showing the 6th June as race day.

BTW I was also told yesterday that the 'Bike Club' package for Moto GP will include an exclusive camping area for the clubs. I understand this will be located at (or very near) where we will have the UKBEG stand.

Norrie - I know you've now posted that you can't make it, but just in case you change your mind :D, we're staying Saturday night (24th) at the Travelodge Stonehouse. There's some cheap rates :P available if you book well in advance.

We will ride down to Bristol early on Saturday morning, attend the Italian Auto Festival, and then go to the Travelodge, which is approx. 15 miles from the UKBEG meet on Sunday. Simples....

Jackie - stop confusing everyone :D ....the correct Moto GP dates are 18th to 20th June. If you scroll up this page you'll find my post dated 10th November - as shown below.

On the 10th November I also altered the events diary etc.

Roger - no, there isn't a 'formal' event organised for the North East. We may have a 'meet-n-ride' at some stage but these are normally announced 3 or 4 weeks in advance.

We had an event in Northumbria on the 4th October but it was poorly attended - although we and the few who did attend had a great time in glorious weather. See this topic viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2707
