I'm getting all my stuff together here. All nicely wrapped in bin bags to avoid a waterlogged sleeping bag. ;) Will meet with bungle around 10:15 and then we'll set off towards the M20 services to meet up with CJ and Co. Can't wait!!! 8-)

It's still bad here ooop norf and after checking the forecasts for the whole of our route today and tomorrow we've decided not to come on this trip :dummy:...

With hindsight we should have travelled down sarf yesterday but Jane couldn't get the day off.

Please accept our apologies and we hope all of you have a safe trip and a good evening in Belgium.

In the last 26 years had only been 4 June 6th, where it hat not been raining, and, unfortunately, this year is proving statistics once more ... :(

Kev was only saying last night that looking at the forecast he's glad he'd travelled down yesterday.
There's always room for a couple of little'uns at the Wheeler Guest House should you ever be able to take us up on the offer Chris (or anyone else for that matter).
We're about 40mins from the tunnel so a stop over here can really help break a journey, providing you can get the extra day off.
I may have to buy a larger pie plate ;)

Ah. If you set off now there is no pie. That Meanie Meanwell ate it all. Mind you, it'll take you a while to get here, I've got time to get to the butchers, cook the meat, make the pie and even make you the extra hard rockery stylee potatoes that Kev had to endure last night. Poor chap.

Seriously though guys I have a spare bed and a sofa bed, you're more than welcome to plan a stop in Kent next time you're going (as long as we're around, I think from what Kev was saying last night that we may have a social clash for the September meet but I haven't found the details of it yet). xxx

Oh and if Kev tells any of you some silly stories about what I got up to last night - especially stories about hazard lights please don't believe him - as if I'd be THAT stupid :oooops:

It was a good do, plenty of beer and a good band. Shame we didn't get there earlier and make the most of the day's activities too. Oh well, a lesson for next year.

Team CJ (minus CJ and Jane unfortunately  ) met a minor celebrity on the Eurotunnel. Anyone remember Rio from Gladiators? No? The six foot amazon that's now riding bikes for a living? Kev had her during the journey, naturally

Sadly only got a few photos (fuckin' Aprilia polluting the last one  )

The ride down with Mich, Whitey and Paul1433 was, err, interesting. I await the speeding tickets!

Great event. Just woken up after having a kip at home. We had plenty of rain to and from the even but while we were there it was smashing. Met some real characters and (tw)Att didn't disappoint. He put on a good show for us! Just wait for the videos and photos to be uploaded. Shame CJ and Jane couldn't make it but I'll see on the mystery tour in the Peak District. They were saying that they'll have another BBQ in August, somewhere in a field. So that'll be fun!! :)

I haven't got any photos but the guys were busy. Just wait for them to appear here. There were some good videos as well.
