Hi Duc - we will try and fix you up with some accommodation near East Kirkby, how many people/rooms and which nights, I assume Friday and Saturday, 15th/16th?

I think I will be able to make it to Em's Day. It will be my first UKBEG event.
I'm sure there was a calendar clash on that date but it seems to have cleared itself. :?: Hopefully I didn't forget anything important.

I'll give the nearby campsite a call...

Sadly I will have to give Em’s day a miss. :(

Mrs Robin and myself now have other plans for Saturday 16th. So I'm hoping Woody will take up the reigns and lead the charge from the Humber. :yup:

Hope the weather is kind and you all have a great day. :4roz:

Duc - the Red Lion in Revesby, where we're staying, is fully booked but they recommend the Crown Lodge Restaurant/B&B, 16 Main Street, Chapel Hill, nr Coningsby. It's 7.5 miles (12km) from Revesby and 10 miles (16km) from East Kirkby.

They have one double room and one twin room available for Friday and Saturday night @ £118 (approx. 135 Euro) per room for two nights, including en-suite and breakfast.

Or, one family room, which sleeps four adults @ £218 (approx. 250 Euro) per room for two nights, including en-suite and breakfast.

If it's of interest you can book on-line here

I've searched the local area and this is the best accommodation available based on price and distance from Revesby and East Kirkby.

BTW Chapel Hill village is just north of Holland Fen, so you'll feel quite at home :D...

And the Crown Lodge has it`s rather large mural/sign on the back of my garage lOl .....So anyone staying there is welcome to join the frivolities on Friday and Saturday :yup:
The owners are nice people(neighbours) and the food is pretty good too :yup:
It is exactly 12.4 miles from East Kirkby, which is done in 15 mins.....If there is plod about ;)

That's a neat coincidence :P....

As Dave has said, if our friends from the Netherlands choose the Crown Lodge it'll make for a great meeting point on Friday and Saturday night.

Duc - I've just spoken to the owner of the Crown Lodge and booked the family room for you, for Friday and Saturday night. The total price is £198 - £20 cheaper than the on-line booking service.

If for any reason you can't make it I need 48 hours notice to cancel the room without incurring any charges.

We will meet you at the Crown Lodge on Friday afternoon to get you booked in etc. I just need some idea of the time you will arrive.

I've PM'd you my contact telephone numbers.
