Hehe. Playing top box lucky dip. There were some muffins in there when I got home.
Shame the roads never actually dried out but great to be out in daylight.

Glad both of you had a good day. Although we couldn't make it yesterday we plan to be at the next Mablethorpe meeting on Sunday 30th December.

We haven't forgot about this topic but things like the weather or other commitments have meant that we haven't managed to get to any of the Mablethorpe 2012/2013 races and there's only 3 meetings left :shock:...

10th Feb 8:00 am sign on
24th Feb 8:00 am sign on
17th Mar 10:00 am sign on

We can't make this Sunday's meet or the 24th (we're getting cheap and dirty in Northumberland) so that just leaves the 17th March available. We'll pencil that date in as a 'must do' - at least the weather should be better by then.

That last weekend CJ they normally have Mablethorpe bike festival on the Sat and the racing on the Sunday ;)

Thanks Kev - we didn't know about the festival but it looks like it'll make a great weekend away :P...

A quick google shows these details for the Mablethorpe Motorcycle Festival on Saturday 16th March. I think we'll stay Saturday night in the town and take in the live music etc.

We've managed to book a room for the Saturday night (16th) at the The Cross Guest House. We can now look forwards to a weekend in Mablethorpe of hot motorcycle action, casual sex, recreational drugs, loud music and binge drinking :D....

Well it was bloody cold on Mablethorpe seafront today with a brisk near freezing seabreeze lOl , racing was good as always though even though I did watch most of it from inside the cafe lOl ..... just a word of warning to any that are coming for the next meeting is that the last few meetings have been early starts due to tide times and hence early finishes (before 1pm ) Not sure of the tide times for the March meeting but I'd hate anybody to ride miles and get there for lunchtime just as it finishes :D

Details for this coming weekends motorcycle extravaganza in Mablethorpe are as follows:

Saturday 16th
Motorcycle Festival - being held in the Queens Park from 11.00 till 17.00.

Evening entertainment featuring live band Decoy, being held at The Dunes bar on the sea front, 20.00 till late. £2.50 on the door.

Sunday 17th
Mablethorpe Sand Racing Club, signing-on time 10.00, racing starts at approx. 11.30.

Tide times:
Low water 03.20
High water 09.00
Low water 15.30
High water 21.20

And there's no snow in the weekends forecast :D.....
