Hi everyone, I'm new here, I have a X1, I've had it quite a while now and done a few mods over the years. I used be on a site for Buells like this a few years a go,this looks similar but different if you know what I mean.
Hopefully you'll be able to answer some questions I have and help me find my Buell sanctuary so I can be happy with my Buell.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the welcome, I went to my first UKbeg meet yesterday and had a fabulous time :) I rode up with two guys, one on a Harley and one on a Ulysses, the guy on the Ulysses was called Mo,he's really tall and that's why he has to have a Ulysses. The other guy was not so tall so he has to have a Harley.
We stopped at a garage and saw some other Buell riders so we hugged and kissed them :? is this normal behaviour for this club? They didn't want to ride with us and left without us,but they did ride with us some of the way when we passed them.
When we got to Kirkby there was some more Buellers, as we arrived they waved at us which was nice.
Then there was one guy with a funny haircut and trousers what were too short, he had not put his bike back together properly so we helped him.
There was a really nice S1 there too, probably the nicest S1 I've ever seen,I spoke to the owner and he was also very nice.

Can't wait to meet some more of you.

Thanks for the welcome again, was your S1 a white one Mick???that was the one I liked. I hope this forum is going to be like the one I was on 4-5years a go,that was fun, witty and pretty much free from PC. Also is it best to use a digital tyre pressure gauge or an analogue one? Will we be able to use an analogue one after 2012? Is there a" how to section" on checking tyre pressures?

If you need to know which oil is best to use, you'll get some useful advice in the Tech Section ;) . Personally, I recommend pouring chip fat down the plug holes now and then lOl

Chip fat, that's loads cheaper than motor oil, how often do you have to change that, still at 5000mile intervals?

When I was on the other forum(it was a bit like this, but the interface was different)there was a guy up north who repaired Buells, who used to live in a shed then apparently moved into a cave to fix the bikes, cant remember his name, I think it was Malcolm or Matthew or something like that,he was a really nice bloke, very chatty and pheasant and there was nothing he didn`t know about Buells (apart from riding them which he never did!)he even had a picture of him and Erricc Buell on his wall, is he still doing Buells?
