G'day folks, the name's Brian, writing to you from Brisbane, Australia. Hope you've got nice weather in the UK, because it's wet here! Oh well, just makes powersliding through corners easier!

Bit about me, I'm from Hull originally, moved to Australia about 8 years ago, and was VERY happy to leave Hull behind, let me tell you! Been into bikes for as long as I can remember, now I'm 27 and my soul still moves on two wheels.

I've been building streetfighters for the last five years. I've done four Gixxers ('02 750, '03 1000, '98 750 and another '03 1000), a '02 Fireblade, a '99 ZX9R and just finished helping a mate out with his '01 R1. Sick and tired of four-cylinder screamers so I went and bought what's left of an '01 M2 Cyclone. Previous owner forgot how to take roundabouts!

Got big plans for it, which I will post up in a different forum, along with pics etc. of my progress. I hope to have it done for the Australian summer.

Nice site you guys have here. I look forward to being a part of it.

Warm and sunny in Hull is still Hull. Only reason it's called Hull is nobody knew how to write the letter 'E'.

But seriously, I appreciate the welcome.

Digger: I didn't do any riding on the road in the UK, strictly off-road stuff. Coz of my age, mostly, but also coz I knew I'd be moving here ASAP! Moved to Australia two days before my 19th birthday, so yeah, doubt our paths would have crossed.
