Hello All,
My name's Gavin and I ride a Firebolt XB12R (red) as well as a Harley.
I'm keen to meet up with the local crowd (around London) and find out more about rides and events close to home as well as further afield.
Hope to meet up with you all soon.
G

Hiya, welcome. Enjoy the site.

I'm in Kent so not too far from you, though we don't get to many of the ride outs we are going to the main event in East Kirkby in July. Hope to meet up there :D

Hey, Gavin, welcome

Nice area, and one I know well after 5 years commuting to school there.

What was Marc Bolan's greatest hit etc

Thanks Roz,
Yes, hopefully will see you in East Kirkby diary permitting but will make a concerted effort. Hopefully see you before then as well on a local ride.

Thanks as well Norm,
Yeah, it is a nice area, remember Marc Bolan's hits well, showing my age...and his shrine/flowers/et al grace the tree up the road (but let's not start another tree post, lol)

Hi Goldy and thanks. Yes, we should get together with a few locals for rides. Can't make Sunday as going to France with the Harley crowd, but let's look at riding out soon, maybe to Kent to Roz's part of the world. I do have some nice roads/routes that I ride out your way. Talk soon.

Ah... you passed the first test, then, of reading stuff before writing. :app:

Some peeps still haven't got it!

I'm just outside Goldy... no, I'll rephrase that, I'm just a bit further out from you than Goldy. Close enough that I can hear him snore most nights.

Which reminds me, I never did go back and edit my profile to show my location.

Thanks Nutah
Oooh, don't know about white anymore, was keen at first but then it seems as if they will become as common as muck, (see what I mean, pash has one too, sorry pash) lol

Ahh, Thames Valley there Norm, close enough (I'm lucky not to hear Goldy snore, must be the runway between us). I got my Firebolt from TVHD.

Looking at your avatar, are you Rannulf Finnes? Shouldn't you be sitting in your shed sawing your toes off :?:

Welcome to the site 8-)

A warm welcome Gavin.

I am in Hertfordshire and up for a 'meet and ride out' if anything has been organised in our neck of the woods. We seem to be pretty evenly spread around London.

I wasn't when I last looked...and if I sat in my shed (wish I had one, long time ambition) and sawed my toes off, don't think I would be able to ride as well...or does it improve performance, lol :sad1: wouldn't be able to kick cans around accurately neither!

Thanks Phil,

Yes, I'm planning a ride out for anyone interested in the Berkshire/Hampshire/Surrey area soon. Be about a three hour round trip not including the stop times...good biking road, particularly the main section...and organised so that we can meet up along the way as well for others wanting to join from further afield...

Will post as separate topic
