'Tis Gods own country for riding. Mine's done about the same miles and it's never seen a motorway (that's what cars are for ) or a dual carriageway - maybe once or twice. I rarely get the opportunity to nail it in top gear either but I'm halfway through my third rear and second front. Had to take it well away from my usual playground to max it out in to, just to see what it's like. It took the best part of a mile before it felt like it wouldn't go any faster wfo, no idea what the speed was - the last thing I wanted to do was take my eye off the road
