Hi All I have just joined your crew but as yet dont own a Buell. I have ridden BMWs for over thirty years and need a change! I tried a XB12Ss last wednesday (that put the F back in biking) but as yet I cant make up my mind between that and the Uly. Can any one shed any light on these two bikes. I am hoping to try the Uly on Saturday. :4roz:

We have both a Uly XT and an XB12SS on demo. Why not ride them back to back :?: We're not far from you either. Give John in the Sales Dept a ring on 01638 664455. (I'm out and about this week riding my Uly 8-) )

Steve

I'd say it depends on how long your legs are. I've got an XB12S, but borrowed a Uly as a courtesy bike when I had a service. I was surprised how similar the handling and engine response was to the 12S, but with a lot more comfort and very smooth on bumpy roads. I'm a 31" inside leg, if I was 33" I'd probably have swapped (which is only hypothetical anyway, as you can't give away a second hand Buell here  )

the Uly is quite tall and longer than most buells. Its the least mini of the XB mini motos. I chose a Uly of the others.
