We did a couple of UKBEG breakfast meets there back in the day. I'm sure you went to at least one of them. Actually, I'm disapointed it's shut, it's just the right distance for me from home for a pootle down the A49. I was going to post here and the other place to see anyone wanted a brekky meet one day. Not to worry.

I think there's another greasy spoon not far from the Raven though?

Yes the Midway Cafe is next door to it so still worth a run out. Rumour has it Lynn has been in battles with the landlord who wants his son to set up there, local bikers are now boycotting it if it reopens. Lynn has done loads for the biker community over the years including Help for Heroes, Blood Bikes etc

I hope the boycott stays, truckers too. A shame when something like that closes but that's life unfortunately. When I get home I'll try a brekky trip to the Midway Cafe.

Is the Raven pub still open? I know the one across the road went ages ago. The Raven was a regular stop on Sundays returning from rallies when using the A49.

It’s possible, but I don’t remember it. A poor memory helps me keep a clean conscience ;) lOl
