I got an XT as well and found Carole Nash the best (they actually recognised what bike it was whereas Bennetts diidn't believe it existed. A real 'computer says no' moment)

Yep, that was exactly the problem I had, Auntie Carole were quite happy (once I'd explained it to them) to go and sort me out a quote for the xt. Quote sounds about right (but I only had 2 years no-claims) think I ended up paying about 300 quid fully comp

i had a similar prob when i had a 07 night train at end of 06 ended up havin to use harley, was more expemnsive than it wouldve been elsewhere but once the year was up i swapped then

Got insurance for £370 with breakdown cover etc..!
Not the cheapest bike to insure but then I dont have any no-claims discount on a bike yet..

Of course there are a lot of variables but my 08, X fully comp is £200 with no no-claims allowed. I thought I was hard done by.
