Hello there :)

I've a 2005 XB12X which I'm in the process of bringing back to life. It's apparently been stood for a 'while' which, looking at the state of the bike and millage, I'm taking to be around 4 years in a damp shed.

Sorry no photo's as yet since it's in bits, but the back has been broken and I'm starting on the reassembly.

I've also got a Triumph Speed Four which I love to bits, but looking forward to putting some serious miles on the uly.

Anyways, hello and time to start reading up...

Thanks for the welcome :) Over in Ayrshire, just up the road from one of the finest bits of tarmac around between Wanlockhead and Sanquar. Oh and the a75, a76, the back road from Muirkirk to Srathaven err and all the other stunning roads up this way

The Orange bits on my 2005 have become ingrained with black bits over the last 9 years. So it's both fast and warm (or just needs a deep clean).

Welcome Chris

One nearly back together uly :)

Was a bit rough when I got it, so engine has had some paint thrown near it, heated grips and volt meter fitted and fully service / fluids / filters.

Just need to fit the Maz output shaft grease nipple, refit the exhaust (although I kinda like how it sounds without  and give it a damn good clean and polish. Oh and a set of tyres.

Now sitting in the garage on trickle charge to see if the battery is any good or not.
