Hi Rog.
i) A grease nipple fitted into a plug in the end of the gearbox output shaft (in the centre of the final drive pulley) to enable periodic lubrication of the needle rollers therein... they have a hard life, are 'under-lubricated', and can 'dry out' when the 'bike is stored on the sidestand.
ii) Modifications to the breather system & pipe work to reduce 'puking', the induction of contaminated air into the engine and to reduce internal pumping losses.
iii) Standard oil pump drive gears have been shown to wear (and then fail) at an alarming rate, there is a superior replacement available.
These mods in general apply to all Air Cooled Buells but tbh I'm not genned up on Fuellers so hopefully someone else will be along soon to confirm if these are all relevant to your particular model/year...

Thanks for the invite to the Dock gate 'do' on the 13th. I arrive back from France that day.......and it clashes with the 1066 HOG Chapter Christmas bash. Sorry...going in a car and staying overnight!! (Harley mode). ;)

Not being much of a 'Tekkie' myself I'll get the lube mods sorted out early in the new year (spring) either when I ride it back or find somewhere competent in France. (Their car mechanics are...........interesting).

Probably take it to 'V Twin' in Rye......... :yup:
