Hi to all from South Africa.
Recently acquired a fantastic xb12 stt. Have done quite a lot of work on the looks of the bike
I still have to get into the engine management to check tps etc, getting a cable from a mate today.

Have had a few twins in the past, but this beats the lot. What a load of fun.

Cheers for now

I'm down in Cape Town, Its suppose to be winter here, Ha. not yet.
Still good riding to be had before the rain sets in.

What a great place! Went there 5/6 times with my last girlfriend who was from Plumpton. Apparently, it 's called the Mother City because it takes 9 months for anything to be done! Your roads are spectacular, especially from CT to Kynsa on the Garden Route, but only did it in a car. Sadly, not with her any more (that's not the sad bit) but miss the roads, the scenery, the people, food and the beer.A true biker's paradise. :yup:

Hi to all
Bought my first road bike on Tuesday and I cant believe what i got for the money
Only had XT500s till now, done a fair few All Weather miles, but always wanted More

Its a 2009 1125R in white with fairing. Got a US can on it, and only 4500 miles
also
Heated grips and lower belt guard, and a tidy looking Number plate bracket.
I know that i will have to deal with the Rotor/Stator issue and the Clutch slave, but learning how to ride it will be a Blast. I cant believe it turns in so quick, nearly fell off :old: (Never)
The ride back was Scary for the first bit around double narrow lanes on a new bike then . . .
two hours of 'deep joy'
Got a European trip planned with friends in September
Wife :(
Me :4roz:

Hope I've caught it in time for just a rotor change.(13.8V hot) with no other electrical issues noted
Happy Days!
Yepee
