I was asking after the furry fella the other day and Tigs said he'd been poorly. How is he? :4roz:

game of "wait-n-see" Adam, took him to see Andy (vet) 'cause he was limping bably after jumping over a wall, nothing broken, but he has fluid retention in his abdomen, hence his little pot belly, Andy is hoping it's just a weak heart causing this, and has given him water tabs to get rid of it. Go back next week, if there's no improvement, it's blood samples to see if it's liver cancer. Andy daren't knock him out for x-rays as his breathing ain't up to it,,,just waiting and watching for now, nothing we can do except pour love into him and hope. He's back to his normal sarkey self again, which is a good sign 8-)

eyup Nick, not a lot really, 'tis sporting a genuine H***a reserve fuel tank (off a genny) as it has been cut down to a 3/4 seat, the tank mounted behind, just in front of the top box, gives me another 3 1/2 litres range, which is useful as it now has a 160cc engine, and is quite capable of 70-75mph, unfortunately however, the brakes aren't up to those sorts of speeds, so plans are afoot involving a 1972 cb175 tls front hub. Amazingly, the handling is more than man enough for the engine, after rebushing the leading links, and fitting hagon units at the rear, the frame has also benefitted from my touch with the MIG, and taper rollers in the headstock,,,and still got change from a fiver ;)

,,but as I said, nothing has happened with it since last year, ain't even been out on it since August last, and recent events with Giz haven't put me in much of an appetite to do anything more, despite the good weather this w/e

Good luck next week :yup:
If it's just water retention, then diuretics can work a treat. My first Dalmation was on them for the last 3 years of his life due to a dodgy ticker. He was with me until he was 15, so keep yer chin up :yup: Tickle his ears for me lOl 8-)

What make and size of carb are you using on that motor? I'm sorting a Hon*a XL 250 motor into a trials frame, and have tried a bucket load of Ebay Kehin, Molkte, Mikuni copy carbs without success. Latest carb is a 26mm (had a 24mm before but lost top end power) but it doesn't have the crisp bottom end 'snap' of the smaller one. I've run out of brass bar for making jets, I'm starting on my stock of fozzy bronze now :o lOl
