Hi I'm collecting a new (08 spec) Ulysses XB12X on Monday, custom paint, full luggage and touratec sump plate etc.
It's been a dream bike of mine ever since they were launched, being somewhat er 'stout' the smaller framed Buells were never an option.
So when the local dealer (Shaws) loaded up a last years spec'd model with loads of toys then knocked a chunk off the price AND offered silly finance I was hooked.
My wife ventured it was THE most comfortable bike we'd ever ridden at the end of the test ride of their XB12XT so the deal was sealed.
I'm looking forward to many happy miles of motoring with my first ever brand new bike!

It's a pearl white a blue tint in the laquer and Buell in Blue, it's not brash but nice and subtle. It's been kitted out with XT luggage and a load of touratec bits, oil cooler guard, sump guard, lens guards, levers crumbs! I've forgotten the rest It all added up to over 2K of extras. I'll post a picture or two when I collect it.
I nearly fell over when they said it would be a week before I could collect it! Back in the day when I was working for a multi dealership for jap bikes we spun the bike out of the showroom and PDI'd it whilst I did up the paperwork!
sorry, old fart moment over, I'm just keen to get it and start putting miles on it!

yes, I like it, a lot, I go round and round roundabouts just for the crack, the ride home is getting longer, getting wet is fun.
