Hi there,

I've recently purchased an XB9SX on a 55 plate, needs a bit of work but hopefully i'll be able to bring her back to her former glory over the next few months (with the help of the forums ;-] )

Currently stationed in Colchester but hail from North Yorks, travelling between the two places as often as I can.

Hope to meet you all in the forums soon

Pete

Greetings :)
If you're fixing up the XB, introduce yourself to :maz: on your travels to and from Colchester, Can't go wrong with his knowledge,
But be aware he might throw the bike in the river :couch:

Hi,

I'm not sure exactly what I am needing but on first inspection it looks like general titivation and cosmetic work.
I have ordered a QMI1 for the jardine exhaust and would like to re-pack it, it's VERY loud.
Bike seems very flat below 3000rpm so first stop is a service and TPS reset, parts ordered for the ECM Spy and will download the software ready to run some diagnostics.

I'd like to get a lower seat and have been scouring ebay....also a tail tidy would be nice....
My GF loves the riding position and wants some standard Buell bars for her Suzuki Gladius, although she did offer to swap bikes....hahaha nice try!

Be good to catch up with any Buellers in the Essex area

Welcome to the forum, you'll have the piss taken out of you because you don't have a "real" Buell. Why not pop into Manleys motorcycles in Clacton, and say hello. I'll be the one that doesn't take the piss out of your choice of bike.

Cheers, Richard.

haha Cheers Wobbly, should I call in on my "other" ride (748 Ducati) and see what reaction she gets...lol

Jill, thank you :-)

Zed, I agree on having a real Buell, but I must say, you have REAL road racing on your roads ;-)
