I have no more idea than anyone else on here, but I would imagine the best place to gauge fellow sprinters' interest would be for example at the Pod, especially after a few quick runs... ...or put it on a trailer, drag it down to Brighton on Sept 1st and park it up at the west end of Madiera Drive, bound to get loads of interest. http://www.brightonandhovemotorclub.co.uk/events.php

The only Buell drag bike I ever saw was at a Buell Track Day at Cadwell Park around about 2008. A machine not dissimilar to the one pictured.

I remember standing up at the clubhouse with Digger when the rider decided to give it a blast the reverse way down the start finish straight. There was an almighty roar followed by an eerie silence followed by a sickening crash of metal.

It would appear that the circuit operators were in the habit of putting a chain across the track on the approach to Barn, if the Mountain section was not being used. Fortunately the rider (someone on here?) was not injured.

There were some very red faces that day.

I do miss those Buell outings..............Cadwell, Mallory etc

Welcome to the site.

The value of your bike to another drag racer may be great, but again the market I would guess is extremely small.

I'm not a drag racer & so it certainly doesn't appeal to me and although it seems to have had lots of mods they are extremely specific to that market.

In my humble opinion you would get more money back on your bike by selling it into, or more likely by breaking it into that market.

Unfortunately after being drag raced, as a fast road rider I personally wouldn't buy anything off it.

Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh, but I think it's probably about the size of it.
